This is to me what all Marvel or DC movies should aspire to be. I feel like I could watch this movie once a week for the rest my life.

Phenomenal 2-part feature… a plot based in a closer form of reality and modern day truths, multi-dimensional characters that you could both love and hate (and a plethora of them), complexity covering the most basic of messages, and a certain oomph you just don’t get with modern films (well, most). The funniest part - I thought nothing could top the dark nature of “Batman: Under the Red Hood,” and I was quite wrong. Nice job Andrea Romano et al.

All my life I have know that the sequel is rarely better than the original. This proves true for Batman: The Dark Knight Returns- Pt. 2 All bets are off in this movie: Joker dies, and The Kyptonian is sent in by the POTUS to bring Batman in. Time to re-review the graphic novel!

I'm rating this 1 star b/c now there is a full-fledged release combing parts 1 & 2 for $19.99, yet this price remains the same. I'm not sure if Apple is keeping the price this high or if it's the studio, but for $2.00 more you can have both halves in a seamless feature-length film. Save your cash for that one!!!

Part 2 is a little bit better in the pacing department than Part 1 (which I found very slow). The build up to the battle between Bruce and Clark was awesome and yeah I was so cheering for Bruce. The ending went a long way to shoring up Bat's as an awesome character (and Clark/Supes as a so so one)..... Still feel that DC missed an opportunity for a truly awesome animated outing though.
