Description

Released in 1965, "HELP!" was the second feature film from The Beatles, who reunited with "A Hard Day's Night" director Richard Lester for the globetrotting comedy. After Ringo becomes unwittingly attached to a mysterious gift from a fan—a sacred ruby ring that gets stuck on his finger—the band goes on the run from a cast of characters who are determined to recover it at any cost. Evading robed cult fanatics, a diabolical scientist, and a hapless troupe of London police, John, Paul, George, and Ringo travel between Buckingham Palace, the Austrian Alps, and the Bahamas, all while delivering seven classic tracks, including "You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away," "Another Girl," and "I Need You."

Another great Beatles film. This time has more of a movie plot. Very wacky characters at times but still so good for any fan! The songs as usual are fantastic. There are also some very unique techniques used in the movie that I haven’t seen in any other movie.

We had this movie recorded on Betamax when I was a kid back in the 1970’s. I must have watched it 50 times... memorized most of the lines and we’d act out the scenes with my friends. It was my late introduction to the Beatles and I fell in hard and never left. I spent the next year buying every single one of the Beatles’ albums (vinyls) after that with my allowance. A fun, silly movie with beautiful music. A movie you feel more than watch. For the best band that will ever exist

A lot like Monty Python but with worse writing but far better music.

Not as memorable as their first film, but it nonetheless delivers charm and Witt from the lads.
