Description

Deep Space Nine's fifth season was a turning point as the Klingon faction, instigated by Worf's arrival, made all efforts at diplomacy moot. In the opening episode a chilling possibility is proposed: have the Changelings infiltrated already and replaced key personnel? Expanding on the new theme of duplication, the crew also made numerous trips to their mirror-universe counterparts. The crew has new uniforms, and the series passes its 100th episode. The popular "Trials and Tribble-ations" puts Sisko and crew in contact with Kirk.

I bought season 2 for 12.99 and would possibly buy others if they reduced the price from $40.

I nearly pissed myself when I discovered that Star Trek DS9 is on iTunes. I like all the Star Trek series for different reasons. DS9, while set on a space station and losing some of the spirit of exploration that made TOS and TNG so popular, had the best characterization BY FAR. All the characters, by the end of the seven year run, were fully developed and fleshed out, and masterfully. It mixes the best of sci-fi and drama with an engaging overarching plot that spans the entire series and keeps you guessing at every turn. Anyone looking to get into the original 5 series of Trek would be wise to start at Deep Space Nine.

I missed it when if first came out and have been waiting AWHILE for you to pick up the final 2 seasons. Season 5 was very intense, interesting. . .and a bit of a cliffhanger. Dear iTunes... I think you are seeing a pattern where enough customers are asking kindly for the remaining seasons of Deep Space Nine. Seriously? Supply and demand mean anything?
