I am a HUGE fan of Stargate SG-1, and I must say, this season surprised me. The Ori are FREAKY. It's filled with action, adventure, the amazing supervillains that are the Ori, oh and of course - the SUPERGATE. Get it.

Season 9 is great! After the first few episodes I started to get used to the new characters (Vala, Gen. Landry and his daughter, Mitchell) Its not the same chemistry as before but its just as interesting. The storyline has gotten much more complex and interesting with the Ori and the free Jaffa. More things to boggle the mind! Ben Browder's done a great job and the rest of the crew are as good as ever!

awesome show especially season 9. i thought the stories were excellent and to bring Ben Browder on the show was a great idea. (not to mention good looking) it was also great to see the team come back together even without the great Jack O'neill.
  • Better Than Expected

With Richard Dean Anderson gone I expected Season 9 to be lame. Actually though, the writing for at least the first three episodes is very good, and the new villians, the Ori, are much more interesting than the Goa'uld ever were. The new SG-1 team doesn't have the familiar chemistry that Jack, Daniel, Sam and Tealc did but, like I said, the writing is fresh and interesting and makes up for it.

i saw that iTunes was putting all the earlier seasons of stargate on here, and they finally got to this one, YAY! i love this season, they're recovering from the loss of Richard Dean Anderson, but Claudia Black and Ben Browder from Farscape do a nice job of keeping the comedy and action level of the show up, although this is not my favorite season, it is certainly one of the best and a must buy for all Stargate fans! O'Neill makes some surprise appearances in a few of the episodes as well, so those of you who don't like it because he's gone, he's still there! just not through all of it. Enjoy!
