  • Best Stargate Season

This is the best season in terms of plot, relationships, character development, action, mythology, new civilizations - every reason we love Stargate is here in SPADES. Jack O'Neill is hilarious, and its good to see all the team get more acting-time. (Teal'c is a beast, as usual). New Order, Reckoning, Threads, and Moebius are all brilliant episodes, and Prometheus Unbound and Its Good to Be King are very fun. On a side note: the iTunes episode descriptions could be a LOT better.
  • One of the final good seasons.

After General O'neil was removed from the series as a regular charicter the shows began to go down hill.
  • Rest in Peace

As people may or may not have heard, Don S. Davis, who plays General Hammond, passed away in 2008. He was a great actor. Rest in peace.

This season is grea but for a hint You need to see what is in the The Lost city Part 1 And 2 in season 7 To see what will happen to Jack There so you can understand what will happen to him in the wounderful season called stargate sg-1 season 8 (P.S. They spelled the lost city part 1 as the los city part 1)
  • Season 8: Farewell to Jack O'Neill!

But not lost forever as he does make cameos in seasons 9 and 10. But you can't base the entire season on the fact General Jack O'Neill won't be a regular anymore after it's completion. That's just wrong. You can't really say anything bad about this season! It's by far the best of all 10 years! We see Teal'c endure a Virtual Reality Training Game, we see O'Neill take over command of the SGC after Hammond was reassigned to Washington to lead Homeworld Security. Most fun of all, Ry'ac gets Married and Teal'c isn't happy about it. The Stargate dissapears, and The Trust make themselves known and we learn a gruesome fact about them: The Goa'uld have infiltrated and taken over The Trust!!! Stargate: SG1 continues to amaze us! Especially after it was discovered that certain people posess a specific gene to access and control various Ancient technologies. Like a puddle jumper! And like every season thus far, there is a great battle sequence; this time with the Replicators. Watch to see how it turns out! Don't miss an episode, you'll regret it!

You can't replace Jack! He can't be gone! I dont know what to rate this show with Jack leaving! So i'll give it a three. The only reason I don't give it 1 star is because Sam is still there.

The season where we say farewell to our beloved General O'Neill! Packed with amazing episodes and the best season finale ever, can't think of a better way to end Richard Dean Anderson's role as a main character than they did through this season. Moebius Parts 1 and 2 are personally my favorites, but they're all amazing.
