Description

Code named ‘The November Man’; Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) is an extremely dangerous and highly trained ex-CIA agent, who is lured out of quiet retirement on a very personal mission. He must protect valuable witness, Alice Fournier, (Olga Kurylenko) who could expose the truth behind a decades old conspiracy. He soon discovers this assignment makes him a target of his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Luke Bracey). With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust, no rules and no holds barred. Based on Bill Granger’s novel “There are No Spies” from the bestselling November Man book series, THE NOVEMBER MAN is the ultimate cat and mouse game set in the world of international espionage.

It's not one kind of movie but rather surprisingly interesting in that it goes through an evolution. Smacks of Jason Bourne, Carlitos Way, and Mission Impossible (DiPalma's film) . Can be downright dark and hard to watch at moments but overall it surprises and keeps you invested while wondering what kind of character am I watching?

I definitely do not agree with TOMATOMETER. A friend of mine saw the movie and told me it was a very good one, so I decided to try and did not put attention to the Rotten Tomatoes Review. Movie was excellent and not only that. I will never put attention again to this measurement instruments and Critic’s that definitely are not objective and fair. Other interest’s behind? Very probable.

When making a film. You do not want it to go to fast without skipping over important parts. Or even just skipping over parts at all. But you don't want it to drag. Foxcatcher, a recent critically acclaimed film that was pounded by viewers for taking a slow pace. However, it is better to take too slow of a pace than too fast of a pace. I'm in no way comparing these two movies. One is obviously much better than the other. But this goes way too fast and skips over important areas. Pierce Brosnan is the the only reason I watched this movie and well it sucked. Shame.

The three stars are primarily for Pierce Brosnan and the actress who portrays Alice. Their performances are very good. The story was over the top beyond fiction which I found to be almost laughable.

This movie was pretty awesome. Not sure why the haters decided to show up and write reviews, but this was an intense film. Great storyline, Pierce Brosnan is the perfect fit as always. Definitely worth it to watch.

I had to watch the movie twice to understand it. I have seen better movies. Not too sure if I would recommend it.
