Description

Frank (Joel Murray) has had enough of the downward spiral of American culture. Divorced, recently fired, and possibly terminally ill, Frank feels he has nothing left to live for. However, instead of taking his own life, he embarks on a killing spree with cohort Roxy (Tara Lynne Barr), who shares his sense of rage and disenfranchisement, and together they launch a nation-wide assault on the country’s dumbest, most irritating celebrities.

The main character appears to spend too much time watching television. Yes there is a lot of crap on TV and a lot of sorry and shallow reality shows. Where is the personal responsibility to turn that stuff off? He has no problem killing the horrible daughter of another family but he doesn’t have the same conviction to kill his own little monster. Or if you don’t like your neighbors, why not consider moving out of Slumville? When listening to politics on the news or radio, why not take the personal responsibility to research what is being said and come to your own conclusions instead of assuming what is and what isn’t. There are horrible and cruel people in the world but this movie acts like it is something new and unique to America. I think this movie missed its mark. What advertises itself as a meaningful reflection of today’s society eventually turns into some clumsy and frustrated punching at random things.
  • Starts off great and could've been so much more.

Film started off on the right track and eventually spun itself into some potholes which you would definitely notice when you watch this.Overall pretty entertaining.

Could have been great. Failed. When a movie like this misses it's mark and falters it stops being funny.... then it is just disturbing.

Holy hogwash Batman! It's yet another Hollywood liberal fantasy where if you disagree with their socialist agenda, they just kill you! It's just sad that liberals can make killing people they disagree with an acceptable expression, where if a conservative did this, they would be condemned as hate mongers who trivialize killing in the wake of all the tragic mass murders that have happened over the past few years!

This movie isn't realistic in its characters but it gets its point across perfectly. I love the idea of this frustrated guy losing it because of all the little annoying things in life from American idol to politics. Kinda like that movie "falling down" just more raunchy. Yes, awesome movie.

This movie was too extreme for me and the girl character in this movie is terrible. The sidekick teenager who thinks that her opinion is all supreme and everyone else is the shallow one...are we really supposed to like that character? She watches star trek and thinks greenday is lame so she should have the right to go around killing people? The guy I didn't hate so much. He has a point about modern society and some people really are awful, but the killing thing was way too extreme and uncomfortable to watch. I deal with stupid, selfish, lazy people all the time and I just want to shake them and tell them to stop expecting handouts or stop acting like a victim or stop being so freaking rude so I thought this movie was going to be therapeutic, but I was just really really horrified. I guess watching awful people stepping in gum or stubbing their toes wouldn't really make a good movie though.

I never write reviews but this movie was asking for one from me. This movie is purely disturbing on so many levels and it has absolutely no point. It seems like this movie simply shows violence and death for the sake of violence and death. I thought it was going to be funny but in fact it was the farthest thing from funny. The only way I can descried this movie is to say that it seeks enjoyment out of the violent and bloody deaths of people both young and old from babies to adults. The killing is gruesome and senseless and is basically that of a serial killer. As far as the point of the movie goes, Oh wait it doesn't because the movie is just one big contradiction. Basically the whole plot is built around the idea that Americans have lost their kindness, so to counteract this the main characters of the movie go around killing people? This makes less than any sense (that is right I said it it makes negative sense). Also, the relationship between the protagonist and the young girl is just horrifyingly disturbing and creepy. This movie is so offensive and pointless that it should be banned. It is also pretty slow moving which makes it even more painful to watch. Oh and the people who write reviews and say this movie is brilliant, well, they must have watched a different movie because this movie is HORRIBLE and should be avoided at all costs. Believe me save yourself!!!
