We all have a movie we remember as a kid and it just sticks with us our whole life. This one was mine. I'm 46 and when I was growing up there was only 3 Channels to watch. I must of been 9 or 10 when I watched it for the first time. It was the first time I cried while watching a movie. It stuck with me for weeks after and I became obsessed with watching it again. I couldn't wait for the Friday paper to come to see the program line up for the week. Hoping it would be on. I must of watched it 4 or 5 times over the years growing up. Each time watching it was like visiting with and old friend. And yes I cried. To this day when someone asks me what my favorite movie of all time is I don't hesitate to say this one. One last thing, if you are watching this for the first time try and go back in time to when you were 10 or 11. When everything was so raw and new. I think you'll enjoy it a lot more.
