Description

Feast of Love is a kaleidoscopic ode to life and love in all its funny, sad, sexy, crazy, heartbreaking and life-sustaining facets. In a coffee shop in a tight-knit Oregon community, local professor Harry Stevenson witnesses love and attraction whipping up mischief among the town's residents. From the unlucky in love, die-hard romantic coffee shop owner Bradley, who has a serial habit of looking for love in all the wrong places, including with his current wife Kathryn; to the edgy real estate agent Diana, who is caught up in an affair with a married man with whom she shares an ineffable connection; to the beautiful young newcomer Chloe, who defies fate in romancing the troubled Oscar; to Harry himself, whose adoring wife is looking to break through his wall of grief after the wrenching loss of a beloved . . . they all intertwine into one remarkable story in which no one can escape being bent, broken, befuddled, delighted and ultimately redeemed by love's inescapable spell.

I though this movie had a fabulous cast, script, and plot. It was heart wrenchingly relatable, and portrayed love through it's brightest and darkest times. Definitely a film I woukd recommend to anyone who loves a movie that will touch your heart.

The movie is inspirational. And it IS fantastic. The greatest thing about it is that no matter who are you watching it with - your mom, dad, girlfriends or a boyfriend - it is going to be that one movie, that will make you look at your relationship differently. Every age will find something for themselves. I thought characters were portrayed very detailed, every glance and every move, let alone every word was in the right place. Morgan Freeman has a fantastic character, just wish that there would be more people like him in the world. And the on-screen couple Chloe & Oscar is simply stunning. Buying that movie i expected it to be another "pieces" crap, like "Love actually", where you cant even follow the story line. In Feast of Love, there is everything the great movie needs. Definetely worth-buying.

I wondered why this movie was so different. Yes, love is the main topic but not one people would consider a "chick flick." It finally dawned on me that it was special because of how true to life it was and the fact that the soul's you get to peek at are mostly the soul's of men....which is something rarely seen in films. This is definitely a movie both sexes will enjoy. For those of you who wonder if love is something that could really last or question if it's worth the risk may find the answer in this beautiful film. No matter where you are in life, this move has something for everyone and will stay with you long after the credits are done.

There hasn't been a movie to touch me this deeply since Under the Tuscan Sun. It starts off with this beautiful quote spoken by Morgan Freeman, who all the more makes anything sound beautiful, "There is a story about the Greek Gods; they were bored so they invented human beings, but they were still bored so they invented love, then they weren't bored any longer. So they decided to try love for themselves. And finally, they invented laughter, so they could stand it. " The movie is considerably heartbreaking and concurrently uplifting. The dialogue reads like a poem. The storyline forces you to open your eyes in your waken life, and if you're a person to experience heartbreak before, it makes you want to walk forward with a new sense of awakening knowing anything is possible... because "love is the only reason there is to this crazy dream."
