This is one of the most hauntingly beautful and magnificent films I've ever seen. If your looking for a thriller of cheap entertainment and good feels, go look elsewhere. But if your looking to embrace the magic of the universe, the beauty of life, this is a story that will stick with you long after the credits. I cried for hours after, the haunting humanity of people who see and describe things most of us will only experience as they go whizzing by, but they understood. They tamed the unseen.

I do not know why this film is not rated higher than it has been. It is not "sluggish!" It develops the plot slowly and provides details that show how difficult it was for Ramanujan to get to Cambridge. His conflicts are well portrayed. This is not a shallow, slick, fast action film which is a positive. So many films produced in the USA are so shallow and are for people who have an attention span of 30 seconds. Thank goodness there are still films that buck this trend.

I'm going to be very concise! This movie is moving ! Simply put.

OThis is an ok movie, but it could have and should have been so much better. The cast and acting were great, but the story just wasn't conveived and written to that level it could have and should have been. This is such amazing material, the life of this genius, and it wasn't treated as well as it should have been.

I'm a fan of both Patel and Irons, so I had to see this movie. It was wonderful. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys intelligent dramas.

The most famous films about mathematics and mathematicians A Beautiful Mind, Good Will Hunting and The Imitation Game though exceptional and probably superior cinematically did not convey subliminal beauty of numbers, of the story they can tell, the emotions they can evoke, or the deep spirituality which they can convey as well as this film has done. Both leads, Patel and Irons, in their portrayals, conveyed the intellectual bond that can connect two great minds. This film is about genius, race, cultural acceptance, and most beautiully about mathematics - our universal language.

Loved it so much I watched it twice. Heart wrenching story beautifully portrayed.
