The Game (Original), Season 5

Drama unfolds in season 5 of The Game with Melanie (Tia Mowry) trying to figure out her purpose in life after Derwin (Pooch Hall) rehires his agent to help him get his career on track. Melanie finds a break when she gets the opportunity to host the Sunbeam fashion show, which ultimately ends in disaster. Things get worse for Melanie and Derwin after a visit to a fertility clinic, where they find out Melanie is unable to have children. As Melanie believes things can't get any worse she finds her purpose when she gets an interview to attend Johns Hopkins, and decides to take it much to the dismay of Derwin. Following the football season and some soul searching Derwin finally decides to put Melanie first and follow her to Washington D.C. Season 5 marks Tia Mowry's final appearance on The Game, special guests include Kel Mitchell, Dustin Diamond, Mekia Fox, and Elimu Nelson.
