Description

Throughout history there have been countless sightings of mysterious creatures, from the dreaded Mothman, a giant winged monster spotted in the sky over West Virginia, to the elusive Sierra Sasquatch seen across the Pacific Northwest. Most of what we know of these creatures comes from campfire stories, blurry films, and grainy photographs. Now in its fourth season, MonsterQuest brings science and technology to bear on these creatures of legend and seeks new, reliable evidence of their existence. Open-eyed historical research and hardcore analysis set the stage for groundbreaking field work: high-tech expeditions to the terrain these famous monsters are said to inhabit. Deploying state-of-the-art equipment, each episode scientifically examines the best evidence available, from pictures and video, to hair and bones, to actual eyewitness accounts. From pilots to policemen to ship captains, a number of seemingly credible people have seen things they can’t explain. One part history, one part science, and one part expedition, MonsterQuest discovers the truth in these sightings and the legendary creatures behind them.

I have really enjoyed past seasons of MonsterQuest. Why isn't a season pass available for this season?

I enjoy watching this show, but 2 main flaws with how they plan things out, 1. the most important thing is that alot of people who claim to see it say they have a gun, but in the recreatement they never use it, or anything at all- if i, or most people found bigfoot and they had a gun, they ould believe themselves to be in danger and would soot it, recoving a body for science, but convieniently they never do 2. the guys looking for the monsters only have 2 days to find evidence, it would take much more time to catch a monster, and their attempts are very lazy at best. I believe in what they're trying to do, but there not doing a good job.

I have enjoyed monster quest since season 1. It is an interesting blend of science with eyewitness reports. I just wish I could by the season pass as in past seasons.

I hope monsterquest airs for at least 1 more season, as it is a good show and i try to watch it whenever i can. It is by far the best show on the history channel and is a sci-fi monster-lover's dream show. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes discovery-history channel type shows.

Monster Quest is a great informative show; it has just started its fourth season. The first episode "Monster Sharks" was very informative on great white behavior and how the sharks’ behavior has changed. This isn't "crap"; it’s a show that tries to explain cryptid sightings with science and detective work. Sometimes they investigate changes in animals we already are familiar with, but raise awareness about possible dangerous changes in the species behavior and/ or habitat. Love the show for what it is or watch something else. Don’t call it “crap”
