Description

Throughout history there have been countless sightings of mysterious creatures, from Megladon, the father of the great white shark; to gators in the sewer, a result of the rising gator populations clashing with human encroachment; to the Snow Beast of the Colorado Rockies that is thought to be hunting the elk population while fleeing man. Most of what we know of these creatures comes from campfire stories, blurry films and grainy photographs. In Season three, MonsterQuest brings science and technology to bear on these creatures of legend and seeks new, reliable evidence of their existence. Open-eyed historical research and hardcore analysis set the stage for groundbreaking field work: high-tech expeditions to the terrain these famous monsters are said to inhabit. Deploying state-of-the-art equipment, each episode scientifically examines the best evidence available, from pictures and video, to hair and bones, to actual eyewitness accounts. From pilots to policemen to ship captains, a number of seemingly credible people have seen things they can’t explain. One part history, one part science and one part monsters, MonsterQuest discovers the truth in these sightings, and the legendary creatures behind them.

I like what theyre trying to do, and i believe in some of the creatures but they do a poor job looking, like they give them 2 days to get a bigfoot, i would say it would take a few weeks or months to capture 1, and yet somehow they dont notice that is onty been 2 days of looking.
  • pretty good but too much crap

I love this show! The only problem is that the season is still incomplete, and the most recent episode is like 2-3 months old.
  • Slowing Down but still fun.

Compared to the first two season, 3 is a little less exciting. It feels like they have run out of monster and are haveing to go back and retell some of the same stories with a little different spin. The new cases often deal with less mythical creatures and focus more on known animals that are ourside their usual habitat. Whether they are new are retells, the cases are still fun to watch and as always makes you wonder what's really out there. I look forward to a Season 4!
  • Best Season So Far.

Season three of Monster Quest has been the best season so far. Although the episodes Killer Chimps in America and the Cattle Killers episodes contain graphic images that may be to much for some viewers. To me the Cattle Killers episode seemed out of place. The episode seemed more Ufology than Cryptozoology if you ask me. The most promising episode seems to be Terror from the Sky; were they actually find a body of an unknown life form with DNA that doesn’t match anything on Earth. This time around they have the skeptics out in the field this time as well as credible scientist. I wish they would stop using pheromone chips on the Bigfoot episodes… they didn’t work on the first two seasons, so why keep using them. Evidently the creatures hate those chips and stay away from the smell (I would too). At least they've started to wear gloves when handling camera traps and bait. That's a real improvement. I'd still like to see episodes focused on the Mothman, Lizardman, Loveland Frogman, Dover Demon, and other living dinosaur sightings in Africa and the Pacific Islands.
  • Bigfoot Rules!!!!!!

Seriously Bigfoot is real for people who do not believe in that. You hear sightings of it all over the world, especially in North America, The Pacific Northwest. I say California, Oregon, and Seattle have the most bigfoot sightings, especially the Cascades in Seattle connecting to Mount Saint Helens.
