Millions of Americans struggle with addiction. Most need help to stop. In this second season of Intervention, addicts and their families confront the compulsions that are destroying their lives. See real people whose addictions and self-destructive behavior have brought them to a point of personal crisis and estranged them from their friends and loved ones. From heroin addicts to alcoholics, compulsive eaters to anorexics, you’ll meet people from all walks of life who have succumbed to addiction and are in grave danger of losing everything. At the end of each episode, an addict will be confronted by family, friends and a professional interventionist in a final chance to reclaim their life before it’s too late. There the addict will have a choice: go to treatment and get help or face exile and isolation from those who love them most.
