Go Joe! He gets such a hard time, but my daughter likes him better than Steve. Joe smiles more and isn't so boring! We're a fan!

Personally, I think Sprinkles is adorable. But I liked Blue's Clues when all she said was "Bow Wow" and Steve was by her side. When Joe arrived, everything went wonky. I learned how to draw by watching Steve! Now the clues just draw themselves. And they have a new goodbye song. They are ruining Blue's Clues! Steve could have worn a wig for all I care! I like him way better!

  • An educational, yet tiring experience we've all seen before.

It's amazing to see that after ten years since its inception, Blue's Clues is still going strong and figuring out clues. In "Meet Blue's Baby Brother" Joe and Blue travel to Puppy-ville to find Blue's brother Sprinkles. To do this, Joe and Blue must find "Gold Clues" by solving problems within each area they progess. The layout is wonderful way for your child to learn basics such as the Alphabet, Counting, and Colors. Just don't be surprised to find your child not sitting through the whole experience since it is a lengthy 50 minutes long. The problem with Blue's Room is the lack of originality. We've all seen the puppet routine since we were kids, and while it's good to reminisce, it's a bad formula for Blue's Clues. The very fact that Blue can talk negates the whole purpose of the clues. It makes Joe's purpose virtually insignificant, since the whole idea of "Blue's Clues" was to interpret what Blue wanted to say, but couldn't. Also, Blue's Clues original paper cutout animation was such a refreshing change to children's television. It's disappointing to see Blue jump on the bandwagon of mediocre puppet shows. Despite this, it is still a must have for your children who will laugh and sing along with Blue as she figures out who her new baby brother really is.

You should really consider downloading this. Blue and Joe going about finding Blue's lil brother. They make friends along the way. They ride a train.... sing ABCs... Learn about colors and shapes. I love watching it with son. It's amazing what kids learn while they're having fun.
  • Why is Sprinkles treated so badly?

My biggest problem with this show is the way that Sprinkles is treated. Every single puppy that Blue and Joe meet is asked the question, "are you Blue's baby brother?", except for Sprinkles. It never occurs to Joe or Blue to ask Sprinkles, even though Sprinkles is with them for most of the show. They even ask a girl if she could be the baby brother. Doesn't Blue recognize another girl dog? How humiliating is that for Sprinkles that they never ask him, but they ask a girl if she could be the baby BROTHER? When they finally solve "Gold Clues" at the end, they seem suprised at the answer. I don't think that Blue wanted Sprinkles to be the baby brother. I don't blame Sprinkles for being more excited about his spots than finding his sister. The music sounds like the Who's 'Tommy'. Or, maybe that's how all of this 'rock opera' music sounds. I really don't keep up with that sort of thing. It has been said before, but the first clue, the word 'puppy' was a dumb clue. Regarding kids with iPods...If you someday have kids and you love them more than you love yourself, you might find yourself driving a car or minivan with an installed DVD player for which you likely will have to pass up the V6 engine or other cool options. You will find that changing DVD's while driving is difficult and dangerous. You will discover that the DVD player may have an av input jack where you can plug in your iPod and keep the kids entertained endlessly on road trips.
