We bought this for our 4 yr old (and yes. We did by an iPad just for the kids. Our son has autism and needs the iPad to run educational apps and communication software.). The shows are great and I'm so glad we found them. Our problem is that there's no closed captioning included. Our 4yr old girl loves to put the captions on while she watches blues clues. It's been teaching her how to read. And she loves it.

I just discover that iTunes had child programs. I love it! I am a 21year old college student with a 2 year old. My husband is in the military. So when my daughter gets bored with coloring or playing with her toys at the library, I have a back up to keep her entertain. Its a lifesaver!!!

Unlike a couple of people who don't seem to understand the concept of giving a review on the actual product in question (not Itunes or Ipods), I am here to submit my opinion on the Blue's Clues 10th Anniversary Special shows. The shows are cute and educational. I only let my son watch a limited amount of television (usually while I'm cooking or getting ready for work) and during those times shows like the ones here are a life saver. The fact that these shows are available for download on Itunes makes it all the more life saving. Does this mean my 22 month old has an Ipod? Erm, no. I love the fact that when we go out of town to visit family or friends, all I have to do is tote MY Ipod and video cables instead of a bunch of dvds. It's also just as nice to have them stored on my computer for his available viewing, again, without the hassle of having to go out and buy a bunch of dvds. Try to think outside the box folks. Just because someone downloads a t.v. show aimed at kids doesn't mean they give their kids an Ipod and it doesn't mean you have 20+ year olds watching a kid's show. It just means that there are mommies out there who are intelligent enough to take advantage of a great situation.
  • Thank Goodness for this show

For all the college students whining about Blue's Clues - stay in school, obviously you need the education. When my son (who's not even two) watches this show he sits and stares at the screen - there is no "playing" with the expensive Ipod he is using it - like it is meant to be used. Learning begins from the moment you are born and Blue's Clues is educational and fun. We're about to travel 18 hours on a plane and these episodes will help everyone's sanity! This season is one of my son's favorites.

For the love of "Cod" why r u complaining that Itunes has childrens shows? Why do you care if some parents let their children use their ipods for a moment of silence. All you moms & dads out there know what I mean. :) My youngest daughter is mentally challenged & loves Blue to no end. To download this on my ipod & use it in a pinch to calm her - it is a godsend. As far as you & all your college friends who sit around & complain about childrens shows on Itunes....go study, enjoy college life, be young & quit complaining about something so silly. As far as Itunes go - Thanks you for Blue!!!
