This movie is just about as trashy as the book. The author Vlad (as in the impaler) Nabokov had pedophilia on the mind. You cannot portray thirteen year old girls, barely into puberty as "love". No matter how flirtatious is the stepdaughter, Humbert should be able to control his sex drive– as he’s an adult, been one for quite some time. His actions are immoral and illegal– the latter with good reason. In prison, criminals like Humbert are on the lowest rung of the ladder. And that’s where he ought to be! Save your dollar! This movie is the epitome of disgusting.

refreshing and something new, very thought provoking and aesthetically pleasing! I hope they make a movie and book from Lolita’s perspective…that would be interesting.
