    No passion that's implied in the trailer. This interaction is dull, boring, and listless as is the whole picture. I'm not sure when I last saw such a boring picture

    This is one of my absolute favorite movies. I'm livid because I rented it, waited an eternity for it to download, come back hours later and it won't let me watch. I have to rent it all over again. Are you kidding me? What a waste of my money. Dissatisfied with iTunes lately.

    This is a beautiful love story. It is beautifully filmed and powerfully told. And It is very moving and meaningful. The acting is very well done. Wonderful cast. I really enjoyed the performances by Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish from start to finish. I highly recommend Bright Star.

    In this hauntingly charming portrayal of the Poet John Keats and his love,Fanny Brawne it cleverly gives one a sense of being in that time period where time moved more slowly. The eerie stillness of the scenes with very little dialogue speaks louder than words. It's costumes and scenery are beautiful. The acting is great and one's heart goes out to these lovers with the conflicts they must face. Bright Star gets four stars! It is a lovely movie. It is a film only to be seen from time to time though. It is the sort of film one has to be in a certain mood for.

    As I read the other comments and reviews it seems that many person reviewing don't know that John Keats was an actual poet and Fanny his actual love. The plot is accurate, not pointless. The point is to portray the lives of hero and heroine. That being said, I think the film was well made. I find it technically appealing as well as emotionally touching. The script thoughtful and evocative. And the costumes made me desire to dress like fanny. The music be my favorite aspect though.

    I wanted to see this because it looked like one of my favorite movies, Pride & Prejudice. This movie isn't as good, and I hate the ending, but the romance, the effects, and the cinematography were beautiful.
