I return to this movie once each year. It’s the role that made Diane Lane an instant star. She left me convinced that she was indeed enormously intelligent and very charismatic to boot. And, Sir Laurence Olivier was wonderful as well. If you’re a Diane Lane fan, such as I, A Little Romance is a must-see flick.

Diane Lane was so precocious in this movie! She did a phenomenal job in her role at such a young age. This was my favorite movie as a child. I dreamt of going to the Bridge of Sighs. I love the ending. The coolest thing is that when you watch Diane Lane in her recent movies, you can still see her expressions from this film in her face. She appears ageless. You're in for a treat if you watch this movie!
