    I don't remember the last time I was so moved by a movie the way I was with this. And to think that this was a true story is even more amazing. I was totally blown away by its story line. Guess it just goes to show what we are all capable of when times seem dire and hopeless. When driven by love and determination, there is always hope. Definitely not a movie for the faint of heart, but if you like movies of triumph over hardships, this movie is for you. One thing though, make sure you have some tissues nearby because this is an almost guaranteed tear-jerker. The performance was extremely moving. Truly impressive.

    this is the best movie i just saw it recently in my science class and we have to do a 12 page report on it and i cant wait to get started thats how good the movie was <3

    I'm gonna have to say that this movie was one of the best ones I've seen. It tells a great story and I would do anything to help cure the illness. It's sad that Lorenzo had to deal with that but what he felt with has helped many boys across the world. He's a hero. I loved this movie. <3

    This is one of my all time favorite movies, and I believe one of the best performances by Sarandon and Nolte. Exceptional Cast! Love Truimphs! Shows what is really possible when you give ALL! These people show what is truly possible when one CARES enough to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE and refuse to take NO as an answer. Yes a tear jerker, but a POWERFUL STATEMENT about POSSIBILITIES!

    My college class watched this movie a few days ago and now we have to write a paper on it. I can never hear what they are saying because the tv is always maxed out and distorted. Now I can watch it at my own volume with better speakers. Also pause at any time I need in case I missed something. This is handy also because since we all have to write a report this movie isn't in the local video store because it's already rented out from the teacher or another student. I'll have to let everyone from class know so then they can do the same thing and watch it at home too. Thanks itunes. :)

    My hijo mayor tiene esa rara enfermedad, mi hijo de enmedio no la tiene, pero el mas pequeno de los 3, fue diagnosticado con eso, aunque no tiene sintomas todavia.- Mil veces preferiria que lo mio fuera una pelicula y no una realidad, pero la misma nos da algo de informacion referente a lo que pasara con mis ninos y en lo que los pueden ayudar. Dios quiera que pronto encuentren una cura completa para esta terrible enfermedad......, muchos ninos sufren al igual que sus padres al verlos decaer lentamente...... Dios tienda su manto en nuestro dolor.....

    I can't believe anyone would pan this movie. Yes, there won't be a dry eye in the house, but the story is about a couple's TRIUMPH against all odds over a system that had virtually given up any hope of finding a cure for their son's disease. It's a true story, and living proof that refusing to take "no" for an answer, that striving onward when the supposed experts say you're wasting your time, is how brilliant discoveries are made. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
