This movie is great! It has a great cast and a good story. The songs in this movie are great too, like the song "Dream" by the group Love, one of the all time top songs ever! The make-up work on the "zombies" are not the best, but think about it, every zombie movie has cheesy looking zombies in it. I like how these were rat type zombies, it has it's own twist and style. I recommend you at least rent it, I watch this all the time!

This might have been a low budget movie and a little generic, but the actors casted for this movie were the best choice they could have picked and did a very good job. The cast and crew did the best they could with what they had and that deserves a good rating.

I definately enjoyed all the to characters. Loved the symbolism and complex character. Great take on the Dawn of the Dead original.
  • Totally fun horror

This indie horror film had just the right blend of humor, horror, and stylistic pathos. Totally fun, with some interesting characters. If you're the type that only likes horror flics that take themselves 100% seriously or stick to torture themes (Saw, etc.), this may not float yer boat.

This movie was part of the 8 Films To Die For. Others include: Borderland, Unearthed, Tooth and Nail, Nightmare Man, Lake Dead, The Deaths of Ian Stone, Crazy Eights, Reincarnation, Wicked Little Things, Unrest, Dark Ride, The Gravedancers, The Hamiltons, Penny Dreadful, The Abandoned, and Frontier(s).

I think this movie would have been better if the people who were bitten by the rats didn't turn into rats themselves. OK, it's a zombie-style movie, so it's obviously fantasy, but it's way out there when people turn into rat-zombies. Oh, and the acting wasn't that great, but I'm not giving it a lower rating due to bad acting. I'm giving it a low rating because it seemed like it was meant to be a comedy-horror, originally, and somehow the comedy portion was lost along the way.
  • Good, But Not the Best of Horrorfest

Interesting story and good camera work make for a decent horror film, but not the best of the After Dark Horrorfest. I recommend Borderland or Frontiers.

I love the Zombie pics and I did like this take on it. Not to go to far but it did remind me of the old days of horror flicks when there was the theme hidden in with the gore and splatter. Anyone... no? Well worth the watch, I enjoyed it.

I'm probably going to be pelted with no's for this, but I actually liked this. The story was well developed and put a twist on the destruction of Manhatten like Cloverfield & I Am Legend. Probably best for I Am Legend fans. Watch this if you want. I like the Horrorfest films.
