Description

Within the FBI there exists a division dedicated to investigating and prosecuting criminals on the internet. Welcome to the front lines of the war on cyber-crime, where special Agent Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) and Griffin Dowd (Colin Hanks) have seen it all until now. A tech-savvy internet predator is displaying his graphic murders on his own website and the fate of each of his tormented captives is left in the hands of the public: the more hits his site gets, the faster his victims die. When this game of cat and mouse becomes personal, Marsh and her team must race against the clock to track down this technical mastermind who is virtually untraceable.

written by a bunch of hypocrites. it tries to tell americans we're bad for watching violence on tv by entertaining us with violence? typical left leaning hollywood. oh and i love the begining, they have a hacker whos stealing people's info online, when the fed's back trace it to a guys house they find out he has 3 registered guns, so they decide he's automatically guilty of hacking because he has 3 LAWFULLY owned guns

decent horror thriller. wasn't a 80s movie or a crappy looking low budget ... currently at 5 dollars for purchase and totally worth that much. I really didn't think the scri[pt was predictable cause in parts i thought they pulled crap from the hat to fit the story... but for 5 dollars you can't complain.

THIS MOVIE... THIS MOVIE WAS GOOD... IDC IF YOU THINK IT STUNK BECAUSE THATS YOUR OPINION BUT YOUR WRONG... GOOD MOVIE. IT WAS SUSPENSFUL AND KINDA SHOWS HOW WE GET OVER EXCITED & CURIOUS WHEN SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, SUCH AS MURDER, HAPPENS. THIS MOVIE WAS AN AWESOME THRILLER & LUCKILY NOT GORY LIKE SAW. IF YOU LIKE MYSTERIES, YOULLL MOST LIKELY LOVE THIS.

I never see this man does that before. I can't imagine a person who is very brillant with the devices of machines and techniques. It happends to me, I will kill him with my powerful like Diana Lane did killed a man.
  • Shows how stupid FBI is... makes you wonder about real life FBI.

The killer could have been caught in the first 15 minutes if any of the FBI in this movie had a brain. I'm seriously hoping the real FBI is much smarter than the idiots in this movie. One section by section power grid shut down and they could have narrowed his location to a street, then moved in on him... movie over in the first 15 min. If you can get over how stupidly the FBI are portrayed in this movie then you might enjoy it. It was okay if you ignore the stupidity.
  • sad excuse for predictable excess

this movie is tired from the beginning. predictable, predictable - did i say predictable; whose demise is wrought in the pitiful attempts at juvenile shock - SO lame I wrote to help you avoid this one at all costs.

I am a fan of Diane Lane's and for some reason, I really liked this movie. It was kind of scarey to realize how true this can be in the world of computers and electronics.

I do not understand the bad comments - predictable? Yes but even Saw was predictable - movies nearly always end up well unless they are planning a sequel. The plot makes you think about the collective evil and how people don't mind killing by proxy as long as it is untraceable. This movie has a powerful message to it and Diane Lane demonstrates once again that her acting talent is flawless. Movie is much better than Saw which became a gory flick. I wouldn't recommend buying but certainly renting.
