It's Alive

I remember seeing this movie back when I was in the 5th or 6th grade. Scared the absolute HELL out of me!!! I watched it again as an adult and found it to be a bit silly but it still has that cult film vibe to it.

Me and my brother have wasted every minute of the 91 minutes trying to make sense of all this nonsense. The idea is stupid, special effects are rubbish, and the acting is absolutely terrible. One piece of advice, don't watch this movie unless you have few dollars to spare and nothing to do in life.

After watching a less than stellar "Bug" last night I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It holds your attention all the way through, from happy beginning to interesting end. The characters are also likeable and here-and-then peeks at what's actually alive keep you wanting more. A plus is the 1974/1975 backdrop and early 1970s feel. Don't be surprised if by the very end of the movie you want it to stay alive!

THAT BABY WILL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF, MAN! NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! MAY CAUSE NIGHTMARES AND A FEAR OF CRYING BABIES! DON'T LET YOUR LITTLE COUSIN WATCH THIS ONE!

not my cup of tea.. i like some older ones but this was a little to cheesy for me..

it's alive is a great horror thriller with many twists and turns.. NOTHING BEATS classic 70's horror.. Just give it a chance if you are a classic horror movie/thriller fan.. check this one out a really Great nail biter in other notes watching it reminded me of the cinematography style of "Dawn of the dead" (1978) Version.. and the soundtrack from "It's Alive" glued all the elements together Just perfect! they don't make them like this much anymore and it is A shame.
