Sid is dead is worth watching! A classic throwback to High School days. If you need a break and a great laugh, this is a movie must-see!
Classic Teen Comedy Fun

If, like me, you grew up on 80s teen movies like Ferris Bueller and The Breakfast Club, you'll feel their influence on Sid Is Dead. It is a delightful homage to those classics and other coming-of-age comedies of the past. At its center is a likeable, under-the-radar underdog who stays up too late playing video games, and -- in his exhaustion -- confronts the school bully. The consequence -- his impending death -- sets him on a journey of self-discovery filled with high school hijinks and heartfelt love. It's a super fun ride! Joey Braggs wins the audience over immediately as Sid, while Gonda's directing delivers great performances from the young cast and balances the antics and anquish of young adulthood with humor and heart! Come for the classic teen comedy, stay for the scene-stealing lesbian moms!

Sid Is Dead is so good. It’s hilarious and heartwarming. If John Hugh’s made a movie now this is what it would feel like.

Not funny at all. Zero moments of comedy. Trying really hard but falls flat. The trailer was better than the movie. Actors were gruesomely hard to look at.
