Danielle Harris and Ellie Cornell have a chemistry that enhances each other’s performance. Pleasence is at his best here, and the ending is probably the best of the entire series. Almost all of the supporting cast are likable and complex. With the exception of Michael’s mask, this sequel is better than the first film in every way.

This movie was a real treat, it came out after I graduated from high school. An excellent return for Michael Myers and a kick off the franchise with further films. George P Wilbur, a.k.a. the shape, I thought he did a great job.
