Description

Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence‐gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a serial killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant JimBaxter (Malik), impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.

Excellent, suspenseful and a final irony.

In a world where us as people want a answer to everything sometimes it’s just best to be left to our own imagination. This movie is great fun and just have a open mind when watching, plus it’s Denzel and Jared Leto they worked hard enjoy the mystique.

Agree with the other reviewers -- great talent, production and a script that had some bright spots but lacks suspense ! Time for film editors to unite and show producers/directors what can happen to something potentially great but fails !
  • Not Confusing

The ending is not confusing. It’s just that you’re confused.

Well there was a get shot of the Freeway coming into LA and it did have the usual message about police CYA corruption so it is about par for Hollywood.
  • Definitely a twist with a little reality

The plot could of been a little more in depth but all around not bad if you like 80’s cop movies.
  • 5 Stars for all the im.be.cil.es who gave this a 1 Star

For this adult I thoroughly enjoyed the twists throughout including the ending… but then I’m an adult and not a little child who needs a fake happy ending.

Is Denzel (a really fat Denzel) now going the De Niro route??
  • Seriously?

3 male Academy Award winners in 1 movie and you expect great things...not a soup sandwich like this train wreck. Glad I didn’t waste my time braving the virtual Petri dishes they call theaters for this disappointment.
