Not a fan of the "Lords" franchise, but now a fan of Elijah Woods. Think it's the porn state. Dark little flick that twists and turns.

    Interesting twists. Dark but satisfying.

Just terrible. Had potential. Only thing going for it was Mr. Woods. Ugh. I'm just saying.

This film drags on and on. Talking and talking...... It’s sooooo slow paced and boring.

Looked like fun, the screenplay probably seemed fun. They just couldn’t deliver it.
  • Movie - not great. Stephen - pretty great!

The concept is fun enough. But once the film actually kicks off, the intrigue fades pretty quickly. The "twist" was very obvious (and derivative of one M. Night movie, of all things), and unfortunately there were not many redeeming factors. The script was kind of a mess at times, the cinematography was not anything special, and the tone was all over the place. I get the comedy/horror thing they were going for, but I don't think it was particularly successful. I do have to say that I loved Stephen McHattie's performance in this. He knew exactly what movie he was in and the scenes he was in were the strongest parts of the film.

This movie come to daddy has to be the most pointless waste of however long it was not counting the parts I skipped thru. The only real horror was that I actually spent money on it. That being said.... it was a bizarre odyssey that Elijah Wood made palatable. Barely. If I had to sit thru it. Once. Mostly.

I had high hopes for this movie but it just didn’t work for me. I like Elijah Wood and indie movies are my favorites. Some scenes seemed to be unnecessary like the gold phone drop among others (drinking scene). There was not a single redeemable character and the “ending” was just an indie copycat non-ending aspiring to be quirky and left to speculation. I realized I really didn’t care.
