  • Not impressed due to technical failure.

As I am an avid Diver, this one actually lost me before I saw it, based on the miovie name alone. 47 meters is just a tad over 154 feet, and the max for recreational diving (depending on which dive maunual you subscribe to... is 100 or 120 feet. So unless they are engaging in a next level of tech expertise and and performing mixed gas diving, they were in trouble long before the sharks showed up.

If I were to rate this movie under shark attack movies. It’d get 5⭐️. But because it’s a general review, it’d have to be 3. The acting wasn’t great but, I’ve seen much worse.

Do you not watch this movie complete waste of time you won’t have the hour of your life back basically only one girl lives in the other one dies that’s how it ends I just saved an hour of your life I don’t watch the movie the only reason I saw this movie is because it was on Netflix once I still can’t get that time back don’t watch this movie
  • Best Shark Movie Ever, PERIOD!

47 Meters Down is a perfect thriller that will leave you gasping for air every second this film spends on the vast blue bottom! It picks up where the original Jaws left off and rips out its jugular with gripping tension and suspense. It’s a terrifying free fall into the heart of nature’s most perfect apex predator! I challenge even the most hardened shark film fanatic to try and watch this film straight through without pausing, jumping, or wetting your pants. After watching 47 Meters Down, you’ll think twice about ever getting into a shark cage, or for that matter stepping foot into the ocean ever again!

I watched this on Netflix, thank the lord. Don’t buy it, you’re just wasting your time. I watched the movie half way and skipped to the end, it was okay. But even the sharks were bored and didn’t stay around very long.
  • OXYGEN? UNDERWATER.?

Anyone who has been certified and has scuba dived will tell you that compressed air and not oxygen is used in this sport. They are not the same. And hallucinations don’t occur on deep dives unless you’re the writer of this underwater film. The technical aspects were bad enough but to end it based on these facts is a slap in the face for scuba divers everywhere. Every 33 feet you dive is like drinking a martini. At 66 feet, ..2 martini’s. So at 47 meters, 154.2 feet would have been the equivalent of 4 to 5 martini’s. So intoxicated slightly but certainly not hallucinogenic. The ending totally sucked! Is it worth.99 yes, only because of the shark effects and SOME decent acting.

This was alright but not great. The intense high energy of trying to survive in shark infested waters. This ain’t Shark Week.
