This movie had the potential to be amazing! The acting was wonderful, the story was deep and intellectual and then they turn the leading lady into a prostitute. It was repulsive. Really killed the movie for me.

I felt heartbroken in some sequences but also optimistic at the end of the movie. Shelter renews my empathy for homeless. Such a beautiful movie!

This movie is something we all need to see. It really depressed me about how people are treated.

This was a powerful and highly enaging film. Both Jennifer Connoly and Anthony Mackie give incredible performances, putting a human and relatable face on the traditionally ananymous homelessness epidemic. Must watch.

Connelly and Mackey give phenomenal, haunting performances. This movie sheds an enlightening portrayal of survival from the events in life that can send you spiraling into choices that seem unrecoverable. When all seems lost, you can't help but invest in a hope that love can save these two people who have less than nothing. Beautiful to watch their selfless sacrifices for each other. You will feel compassion for those people you walk by on the street. Unforgettable.
