Description

The stakes are raised for survivalist Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) in his most dangerous monster hunt yet. When Gummer's hired to capture a deadly Assblaster terrorizing South Africa, he and his new sidekick, Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy), engage in a battle of survival against the fiercely aggressive Assblasters and Graboids. Discovering the monsters have evolved into even more lethal creatures, their killer mission takes on a whole new level of unseen terror–far more than they bargained for.

I am not a fan of Jammie Kennedy. I feel he tries to be comedic with a twist of bad boy attitude. Neither works. There is not that much action or creature scenes as well.

This one topped the third film, which was my favorite, with the new graboid. The creatures, especially the new graboid made me jump out of my chair screaming "AIN'T NO FREAKIN' WAY." i recommend rent this video, better yet, buy it when it comes out.

I did like the first tremors movie with Kevin Bacon, later the movies were lame. I watched this one thinking it would be better…. by now, but it got to be so bad I couldn’t stand watching it any further. The effects are good. I suppose the plot is adequate. Heck, maybe the acting is fine, but there were so many lame goofy, wonky characters with just terrible script and it just got to be stupid. I don’t know, maybe that’s what the series boils down to. I felt I owed it to ya’ll to warn ya; sometime about protecting our species.. I don’t know.

As a fan of the franchise, despite a disappointing series and 3rd/4th films, this chapter was very impressive. New design (the new graboids look amazing!), clearly well made CGI, and at least semi-likable characters. It just feels like a better film than all of the sequels to the original. If they make another Tremors film, I hope they keep amping it up!
