I've been mezmorized by this documentary since I first stumbled upon it in Netflix. It's very well produced and an amazing insight into the visionarys that have brought us to this point. I can only hope they continue it for another season....or two....or three

An unusually engaging combination of drama and documentary. I started watching because of the topics, but I couldn’t turn it off because the stories and characters were so engaging.
  • Some events have been altered for dramatic purposes...

I have a hard time watching a show on historical figures that has to add fictitious dramatization to fact in order to get an audience. The only upside to this show is that hopefully by airing content that somewhat relates to fact maybe some people out there will be inspired to read about or research the real people that are featured in these episodes.

Even though I haven't always been too fascinated with history itself, I've always loved learning about the inventors. This mini-series was a great way for me to learn more without spending hours watching documentaries. This series has inspired me to continue reading about the figures shown here, and learn more about the more unknown people (Farnsworth). Thanks National Geographic for such an amaing series!
