Description

At the end of season one, everyone Sara cared about was killed. The Witchblade had brought her the deepest misery she’d ever known. But the source of her agony also allowed her to rewrite the past and prevent the deadly fate. But, as in all things, there is a price to pay. As she continues to discover the supernatural power of the Witchblade and use it to combat real-world crime, she grapples with her mysterious past and the mystical gauntlet that chose her for its own. Realizing that she will never be able to rest so long as there are evil souls who will stop at nothing to possess the Witchblade, Sara assumes the responsibility to master its capacity for good in addition to fulfilling an ancient prophecy.

Overall, great acting and an interesting series based on the oroginal Witchblade story. Very 90s, but this just means lees on special effects. The filming is still more cinematic than many shows of teh era, and overall a show the whole fmaily can watch. How many modern shows fit the definition of "family" entertainment. No graphic violence, no gender-bending, just good fun. This was a well done series ... in the day. However, there's never been an up-rez to 720 or 1080, and I think the price of the show should at least partially reflect the production value. This first season has been proced to 10.00 from time-to-time on iTune promos, but this should be the base price, IMO. For 10.00 per season, I'd be inclined to purchase. The show deserves to be watched, it was good. We'll see if Apple listens?
