I love steins gate!!! It's so emotional! It has great characters and plot! Now all we need is the movie and the OVA. In sub or dubbed (I don't think anyone would care because it's good)
  • Great show, great ending... But add the OVA!

I covered most of this show in my review of the first half of the show. In summary, this is a fantastic show with a great ending, and I give it a 10/10, which is rare for me to give. Unfortunately, iTunes has made the mistake of leaving out the OVA! Essentially an episode 25, it finishes off the show well, considering episode 24 leaves out one little bit (not gonna spoil it) that is pretty important. It would be impossible to say what it is without spoiling what happens throughout the show, but anyone who has seen the show will know what I mean. Anyways, this half of the show is as good, if not better than, the first half of this show, leaning farther away from character development (aside from our main character, who has to deal with some depressing stuff) and experimentation, and more with fixing the future and saving the world. The show keeps its humor and joking but brings to light elements of betrayal, a very dark story ark, and emotional battles that really tie things tight. If you haven't already, watch this show! You won't regret it!

First of the way the iTunes store describes the show is misleading. This show just starts of with a bang and a mystery. The whole concept is actually extraordinarily intricate. Watch it and realize you know nothing. I’ll say this, the complexity of the show continues to foreshadow future seasons. Also, I do love the voice acting and the translation seems accurate as far as I can tell. I enjoyed it so much I just had to buy the BD and see it in Japanese.
  • I'd recommend...

To watch it on japanese and obviously watch it entirely expecting surprising turns out of events.

WHERE'S EPISODE 25!!!??? How could they do that to us!? I'm serious! There's actually one more episode of this unimaginably brilliant anime that gives us some closure on the whole thing and they didn't even put it up for sale! WWWHHHHYYYYYYY!!!!?????
  • SPECTACTULAR!

I loved Steins gate from start to finish, but where it got really good was the 2nd half. Intrique suspense, humor, drama, and action mixed with sci-fi overlayed with romance makes STeins gate an awesome anime. Not to mention the character development and interesting plot. Overall a good ending, I was peeved that ITUNES didn't have the 25th episode OVA to download, but other than that I really really love this series.

I wrote a bit of a lengthy review on the Pt.1 reviews (which in short said buy it no matter who you are), if you are thinking about getting the show check it out.

This show is awesome. Got me hooked on right away, and if you're not sure just download the free episode they have on iTunes and you'll see what I mean. It's worth it and if you buy the season it actually costs less than buying them separately. Trust me. I had my doubts too.
  • The first one was a mind bender, and so is this one.

I feel they did an outstanding job building up the story to the end of the first half, and then with the second half of the series, they spend it all undoing what has been done. It lacks some of the random pervy jokes that were sprinkled throughout the first half, but all in all it will ahve you on the edge of your seat at times with the things that occur.
  • OH bring it ON!!!

Steins;Gate pt. 2 is defined as breath taken twist anime as the characters trying to save one soul before time runs out and have restart again. Combo of Back to the future, doctor who + big bang theory. Watch it if you must don't Judge a book by its cover...
