Can't wait till January when it comes back. One of my favorite shows of all time. Also that Alisson Brie is so freaking hot and so is Gillian

I don't care what people say this is just as good. This is not a shell of what it used to be. It's still as great and still makes me laugh

I think that all of the community fans that were here from the start (Season1) can see a diffrence and is some what disappointed with season 4. All the newbies think this is a 5 star show because they haven't seen the previous seasons. In any case however we can agree it is still a great show and everything will be fyne (see S4E1). I am just hoping this show still gets its goal.... SixSeasonsAndAMovie!!!!!!!!

Episode 4 of Season 4 is the first hint of old Community that we've seen all season, and it's clear as day as to the cause of the overall quality nosedive. Yes, Dan Harmon, who was the heart and soul of this show is no longer a part of Community, at this point. But also, several key writers have left, as well as a few actors (not even really referring to grumpy Chevy here). Most noticeably, the new showrunners have no idea where to take the show, and so now we're just pointlessly rehashing old, worn out themes - Jeff and Annie again?? Pierce being a selfish old man?? Britta wearing a ridiculous Halloween costume?? This is a hollow shell of the show it used to be, and it's extremely obvious, at this point. Go back and watch "Pillows and Blankets" and tell me it isn't funnier than any of this nonsense.
  • Community rocks

However, it seems like they're really just trying to stuff a whole bunch of stuff into these few episodes. They rocked the first three seasons now let's hope they "end" with a bang. (Or not, that would make me quite happy)

I love this show and I hope it gets renewed for another season.
  • Expecting more like first three seasons

Didn't find the first episode this year that well paced or put together. The laugh track was horrible. Abid would have never dreamed of a laugh track in my pov. Just all felt forced. Hope the pacing comes back to those first three years. Season two was the best.
  • Can't imitate eccentricity

The first three seasons were packed with some of the most original and unique episodes of any sitcom in years. The show had broad humor, weird inside jokes and a lot of subtle stuff both funny and charming. The subtle stuff is what's missing in the premiere episode this year. It was wacky. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it was an imitation. Without Harmon the show may have lost it's very specific eccentric nature and you can feel it. Watch the last couple years of Seinfeld after Larry David left. It was different. It was still funny but it was different. At least in Seinfeld's case much of the writing staff and the show's other main voice (Seinfeld himself) remained. Community lost show creator Dan Harmon but also the Russo brothers, Star Burns (he also had a consultant credit) and other essential staff. The show was also not turned over to anyone who had previously worked on the show but producers from other sitcoms. The show will be and thus far is different, let's not pretend it's not. Whether it ends up being different good or different bad remains to be seen, but so far it's kind of flat.

Last night's episode was as funny and brilliant as the rest of the other seasons. Please buy and rate high so they keep it on the air.
