Man vs. Wild, Season 5

Bear grylls is the coolest person on the earth. i have seen every episode and i love all of them. especially the ones when he is in the desert or a rain forrest!!!!!

best show i ever watched! my favorite was western pacific. I wish you would make more and make them longer otherwise it is great!!!!!!!!!!!

Much less informational than Survivorman, but how can you not give credit to a guy that drinks his own 'you know what,' not once, but several times over the seasons?!

It really is the best.

Seems like the episodes are getting shorter like he doesn't do as much. I would like to see him do a 2 hour show. In the one hour shows he camps one night then makes it out. How about a episode where he has to spend a week out in the wilderness. These one nighters are kind of lame. What the heck Season 5 "Behind the Wild" they already did this in Season 4 "Shooting Survival" and "The Inside Story". Uhhhh

Remember back in the day when a TV Season was 20 or 30 episodes???? Bummer. Having said that, Bear is da' Man and I love the show. Only TV show I watch. Just wish there was a few more new episodes. Getting tired of reruns and limited new episodes. Another Fan v. Wild episode would be cool. With me in it. :-)

I agree with the comment earlier...THIS SHOULD BE IN HD! This is a discovery Channel production...that means beautiful camera work! Let's see it as it was made to be seen. As usual though Bear kicks off another great season with "Western Pacific". Here we see him grapple with Sharks, eat a campfire roasted lobster dinner, and make a raft out of bamboo that barely gets him to his destination. Go Bear!!!
