Description

The community landscape is littered daily by juvenile delinquency, drug abuse, student dissidence, and con-artistry but, just like that, it can all be brought to a screeching halt when Friday and Gannon appear on the scene. Ladies and gentlemen, the stories you are about to see are true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent. These are the best episodes of Dragnet 1968.

I loved the old Dragnet eps so paid for two of them here. What I got was a 30-second clip of each. Four bucks down the drain. Joe Friday, where are you?
  • Too Bad I-Tunes Changed the Series

When I started downloading episodes of the series, I-Tunes HAD all of the seasons complete for download. Now they've changed the format and are selling them in "Best Of" sets. So who determines what's "the Best". Obviously, whomever redid the format didn't know what episodes were good. Missing are episodes like "The Shooting" in which a wounded cop suffers from PTSD and can't help ID his shooters. Or "The Hammer" in which Friday & Gannon search for the killer who bludgeoned an apartment manager to death with a hammer. Both are excellent episodes left off the list. Still, I love Dragnet and will download "The Best of What's Left"!

I watched every episode so that I could say the lines before Friday and Gannon had them out. I wanted to be a police officer so bad I thought I was using them as a training base. I became a police officer, in spite of my immature attempts at training. (My current badge number is 714, only two notches away from Friday's 716, retired by LAPD.) Anyway, loved the shows, great to have them back. Part of our youth. It won't make us young again, but we'll enjoy them nonetheless.

This is fantastic! TV legends Jack Webb and Harry Morgan are superb in this series. Takes me back to my childhood. I love it!
