I'm honestly a bit of a moral relativist in most matters. I'm not a judgmental person by nature, preferring to look at an individual's background, influences, trauma history, psychological makeup, hereditary influences, exposures and experiences when forming feelings and thoughts about them. I did not prejudge Michael Vick, rather I tried my best to look at the facts of what he did, admitted to, etc., and weighed those things against his words and background. This is what I learned: there are some things that are SO wrong, so evil, so outrageously immoral, that there is no valid excuse, no psychosocial variable that can explain it. This is one of the most disgusting examples of pure evil and complete immorality I've ever seen. I'm no PETA member, not an animal freak. But anyone with a lick of sense who really looks at the Vick case will find Vick and his subsequent apologies to be equally disgusting. This wasn't just some dogfighting ring that, as sick as it is, does occur in urban areas (such as where I grew up). This was the most violent, calculated, determined, thought out and planned, systematic torture (physical and mental) and mass murder of innocent dogs you can imagine. If you don't want to vomit looking at the photos there's something wrong with you. What Vick did is so appalling that I can't imagine a punishment for him that would give the slightest justice to those poor dogs. Personally, I think Vick should be given a second chance, redemption -- by whatever God he believes in. But a second chance should not be given by society. We don't have to forgive him. He should be shunned and shamed until the day he dies. The kind of cruelty he perpetrated and allowed is unforgivable and SHOULD NOT be tolerated by our society. But instead, he gets a fat $$$$ deal from BET and is now raking in more $$ via having this nastiness for sale on iTunes. I'm boycotting it, all things Vick, and BET (sadly). Shame on those who line Vick's pockets!

I think first if your not a Mike Bick fan lol..( You will know why I called him Mike Bick when you watch it was not a error) you have no reason to watch the series. After watching, I think Michael has a beautiful family, he loves his wife & kids and is as loyal as anyone could be to his mother, brother & sisters. Iam a dog lover & I had a serious problem with what Michael did, however I believe that sometimes people just make HUGE mistakes in life. And you can tell....by listening to him speak, that change has happened. I will tell you this....the crime he committed was something he started doing at an early age, it was something that was going on in his neighborhoood ....as sick as this may sound but I think it was just real simple for Mike in his mind. It was a competitive sport for him in his mind, HE KNEW IT WAS WRONG....otherwise he would not have done specific things to make them as he said " discreet " . The guy is sorry and he proves that...time & time again with his attitude, behavior and effort for change.

You guys are acting like you NEVER done anything wrong, or make mistakes. It happens, No ones perfect, last time I checked. We make dumb mistakes all the time. Doesn't matter who you are, or where you come from. That happened to be Michael's mistake, and he realizes that, it was wrong. HE is just man enough to come out and face the facts. For that i thank him. You have your own issuse you need to work on, so why are you on here talking about how awful he is? When is the last time YOU sat down and thought about something youve done that wasnt right. So before you go around throwing your negative comments around, make sure you are compeletly perfect. But i honestly dont think thats possible. If people would stop judging and start motivating, the world would be a better place.

GOD forgives so what make people think that he hadn't forgave Vick. For all of the people that say he did a bad thing, i agree. But im sure GOD has forgave him. That's the only thing that matters. You haven't always did the right thing all the time. What happened when u asked for forgiveness. Just like you was forgave, Vick was forgiven too. So get off that, and get off Vick. Stop dragging it on. After all, he is trying to talk to the youth about what he did wrong. So if you dont wanna watch a Michael Vick game, or rip your tickets up in front of the camera go ahead. If Vick has did his time and is making his way out to talk to the youth.. that should be enough for you to at least keep your mouth shut. I mean... i know u want forget but at least shut your trap and let the guy try to change the youth's mind about dogfighting. I say again, WHAT VICK DID WAS WRONG (AND HE ALSO KNOWS THIS) BUT YOU KNOW.. THEY SHOOT DEER ON TV ALL THE TIME. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU WATCHED THE GREAT OUTDOORS ON TELEVISION AND WATCHED AS A DEER HUNTER AND HIS SON SHOOT DOWN DEER. I mean... if the law really would like to get into ANIMALS being killed, and Animal Rights, stop the hunters first. Sometimes, when i listen to the people that say that they dont think Michael Vick deserves a 2nd chance, I think "Well what do they think about the murderers that get off with only little time." I actually know someone whos' younger son was convicted of manslaugher after he hit someone while driving drunk. His son went to jail. He was suppose to be in for 4 years but got an early release after 1 year. I also was happy because i was good friends with his son and always felt like people deserve a second chance. We threw a huge party for his son. The father was very happy to see his son back around. Then came a time when we were working on the assembly line (about a year after his son was released) and someone that passed by told me that Michael Vick had gotten released from prison. I said "Thats great!" Everyone knew I was a Vick fan. But the same old man that was estatic about his son coming home from a manslaughter beef early, was angry because he felt that Vick should have gotten more time. I felt I was a good friend to the old man and to try to put some sense in his head i said something that ruined our friendship. These were my exact words. "Phil, Michael Vick got more time for killing dogs, then your son got for killing a human being. He tried to justify by saying it was an accident with his son and that Michael Vick knew what he was doing. And i told Phil that Matthew (Phil son and my childhood friend since middle school) knew what he was doing also when he had gotten behind the wheel after all those shots of yager. Phil said "Well.. you was happy when he came home." And i told him "Yes, because i believe that people deserve a second chance" Phil frowned and stopped talking to me. Matter of fact him and his son stopped talking to me completely. And i didnt understand how someone could forgive someone close to them but not someone else. So before you start to say that Vick doesnt deserve a second chance, think about if it was someone in your family that committed the crime. EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE!
