I am a big fan of highlander I know theme song is sung by queen however I don't know the name Of song and where if I can get a cd of the soundtrack

There will never be a show like this again. If you look at the topics and themes it would not make it through the PC scrutiny of today. “The game” attaining power through beheadings, power and religious themes tackled, living by a moral code in an not so moral world and a brutal immortal game. It is great TV. Fantastic action. The show is so deep on so many levels, and the mythology of the story adds to it. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Highlander was among the best TV series overall of all time. Even though the first season is pretty much the weakest, it is head and shoulders above most other series. The concept is of a race of immortals (possibly a subrace of humans, although immortals are always sterile) living among us, working towards the time when only one will survive their battles -- for if you cut off an immortal's head, he dies. If one immortal cuts off another's head, he also takes the dead one's power, knowledge, abilities, etc. (although these are still limited by the winner's own strengths). During this first season we are introduced to a number of great characters, some of whom, unfortunately, do not make it all the way to the end of the sixth season. The filming order of the episodes is different from the broadcast order, so some of the first dozen or so episodes conflict somewhat, and a lot of this season is character development, but the action, intelligence, and beauty of all the episodes makes each one worth watching.

This is a great show. I loved it when it was on TV and I'm glad I can get it on my itunes now!
