MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN follows Clark Kent (Jack Quaid), Lois Lane (Alice Lee), and Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid), three twenty-somethings figuring out who they are, who they want to be, and saving their city! Clark spent his whole life hiding his strange powers and wondering where he came from. But when he begins at The Daily Planet and gets sucked into a criminal firefight on his first day, he'll have to embrace his powers to keep Metropolis safe, all while falling in love with Lois and trying to uncover who he really is. It’s hard to judge an entire season on just two episodes, but these have been technically good, with largely decent to good voice work from all the major players and some really good character development. It has also featured far more action that people probably expected.

My Adventures with Superman brings together aspects of anime, traditional animation, and comics in a bright retelling of the Superman mythos. So far, there seems to be a healthy balance of Clark Kent and his alter ego - something missing in recent iterations of the character. And the dynamic between Clark, Lois, and Jimmy is great right off the bat. They appear to be making a few changes to his Kryptonian heritage just enough to keep things interesting. Looking forward to how the rest of the season plays out!
