Description

NCIS is an action drama about a team of special agents whose mission is to investigate any crime that has a shred of evidence connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel, regardless of rank or position. Leading the NCIS team is Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a highly skilled investigator and interrogator who is willing to bend the rules to get the job done. Working under Gibbs are Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, a former detective with instincts that come only from working the streets; Agent Kate Todd, a tough former Secret Service agent; and forensics specialist Abby Sciuto, a scientist whose dark wit matches her Goth-style hair and clothes. New to the team is Special Agent Timothy McGee, a graduate of MIT whose computer skills earned him a probationary spot on Gibbs' team. Assisting them is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all. NCIS's special blend of humor, drama, and action sets it apart, and the season finale packs a punch so surprising that only time will tell how the team will recover.

I love NCIS and was ready to buy until I saw the Season 2 by episode only. Am I missing something? If you want the whole season its $45 - about $10 more than season 3. What gives iTunes?

It's hard enough to find NCIS online anywhere, so I suppose I should be grateful that iTunes carries the show at all. However, I'm frustrated that I have to buy Season 2 one episode at a time and there's no HD version available (even though Season 1 is available as a package and in HD). Holding off buying this until I can get it in the format I want.

NCIS is one of my favourite shows and I have downloaded each season in 720p HD. Seems very hit and miss which episodes are now available in 1080p. When will this be resolved?

NCIS Season 2 shows depth and insight to the characters in addition to stronger story lines and more thought out plots. In recent season of NCIS its become exactly what it's classified as: procedural. "dead marine, what do we got, spit it out, it was you, it was you, it was the first guy" (insert random criminal). The first several seasons gave the characters a little more personality. DiNozzo isn't always quoting movies, Gibbs isn't always stone faced and bland, McGee's still McGee and Ducky has more involvement. Sasha Alexander is also a bit more versatile than Cote De Pablo. Althoug both are beautiful, the Todd character fit a little better with the rest of the cast. I would compare the early years of NCIS to Seinfeld (not a comparison that the shows are equally as good). George Costanza was actually a person who had more than one side in the early seasons. In seasons 6-9 he was just a joke without any restrictions, which wore a bit thin. The same in the NCIS characters but to each of their own personalities extremes. The show also has darker themes. I doubt the critics would call the darker episodes preferable becuase they appeal to more intellectual and mature adience. Whereas the new procedural factory is more appealing in broader sense because anyone can tolerate the bad guys.

I love this Series.. I have it all, but when I purchase the seasons 2 to 5, was'n available in HD, so I get it in Standard Definition… Now I tunes release the season One even in HD.. I got it. Now my point is, iTunes should sell an upgrade for thos that purchase the SD to get the HD.. I don't want to pay the entire price for the season 2 to 5 because now is available in HD.
