Star Trek: Discovery, Season 3

I really enjoyed this Star Trek series. The Brave Ne World Star Trek, is not as interesting. I could not finish the season. It also has a slower pace. On the other hand Star Trek Discovery is great. The group of actors in this series really make this an interesting show. I just hope that they do not loose too many of the original cast.

This show has a very CW vibe…it’s really immature and predictable…they kill the interesting characters and bore you with the insufferable ones…the technology they create makes all the storylines unbelievable…the writers of this show seem to depend on the audience to remain willfully stupid for the storylines to be believable…

Wokism is as unrealistic and no matter how you dress it up, it’s disappointing. Most Americans hate the propaganda! Trying to normalize homosexual life choices isn’t something most of us want to see, its just nasty.

I love every Star Trek show ever created! But, this is the season when discovery began its steep decline. Season 1 - pretty good Season 2 - really good Season 3 - down hill Season 4 - crashed and burned into a massive river of emotional intelligence dumpster juice…and then those juices just kept squirting everywhere! Yet, with all the constant emotion talk, no meaningful character development until they want to kill someone off or write them off the show. Constant dropping of Star Trek references. Normally these would be called Easter eggs, and we would love them, but when they happen every five minutes it feels more like being egged. Also, the Paramount+ app that you have to watch Discovery on is horribly buggy and overpriced.

Season 3 is alright. Best season so far. The tech no longer seems way out of place for one thing. Also, there are stand alone stories that you can watch randomly without following any over-arching plot. Not really science fiction stories but character sories so tha's a plus because we actually know slightly more about everyone else besides Burnham, finally, (she's still awful). This season is worth the 35 bucks I paid for it, as a Star Trek fan, but I don't enjoy the crying in every single episode to tell us how to feel. There are new characters and they wrap up some others. The action scenes are unrealistic and dull. It's Discovery. Most already love it or hate it. If you're a Star Tek fan and you've got 35 bucks laying around..maybe. You have your reasons.

As Jonathan Frakes said, Discovery grew it’s beard this season. Loved it from start to end. Looking forward for more. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. They’re mostly from people who want an exact recreation of what was and that’s just not sustainable for present day. Discovery does a wonderful job of updating things to fit the times as well as staying true to Gene Roddenberry’s vision of IDIC.

Despite the loud hatred from a vocal minority intent on attacking the show on every website because they’re on some “it’s not real Trek” vendetta just like they’ve done to TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT before it, Discovery’s third season is a heartwarming and powerful story about the importance of love and connection in a disconnected galaxy. As all Trek shows before it, it is at its best telling a story that illuminates and parallels our real life struggles. With lovable characters, great visuals, and more groundbreaking representation of diversity that Trek is known for, Discovery further cements itself as an important piece of Trek history.

They canceled enterprise…. For this garbage?!?! Horrible show. Horrible acting. Everything is trash. It’s not Star Trek.

You’ll hate yourself if you watch this. Go watch The Expanse or Foundation.

Discovery is in the 32nd century exploring a new era. It an exciting season.
