Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Vol. 1

I’m not really into TV shows but when I saw this, I immediately bought it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the number one thing for me as a kid growing up, but it slowly drifted away as I grew older, but when I saw this could help but want to feel that way I did when as a little kid. I always wanted to become an animator when I grew up and this inspired me even more. I am now drawing my heart out, drawing Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Raph. Making character designs of everyone from Tmnt 2012 for what they might look like. The first time I watched Tmnt was when I was 5 years old, I am now 13 turning 14 in 8 days from now, and I am still waiting for the next episode of Rottmnt to come out. So thank you for bringing back that happiness in my life again. 😊

I love watching all the dynamic animation! And the dialogue is great.

I’m an avid fan of the show, and as someone who has been a lifelong fan I can say this is my favorite so far! There is so much creativity and beautiful animation at work here, and the comedy cracks me up all the time! A bit fast paced at times sure, but most definitely a fantastic ride.

Ok, I get how everyone is upset. People don't like change. But you need to separate the two, because these are not the same ninja turtles as previous ones. I love the art style, and I think they captured sibling life perfectly, but ninja wise they are a bit rusty. This is because they are looking at a 'rise' instead of an already amazing ninja team. Also, I'm not sure, but I think they are going to set up a way for Leo to take over as leader later.

The rewatch value of this show is insanely high. Watching the expressions and actions of characters in the background of the shot is super fun. Characters rarely hold still and move in exciting ways to support conversations. The animation varies from ridiculously funny to dramatic based on the scene. Also, this iteration of April is as much fun to watch as the turtles, it makes sense why they're friends. I cannot recommend this highly enough to animation and comedy fans.

I like this version just like I enjoyed the 2012 version. You don’t have to pick one or the other...

I love the new 2D art style, and how they made new changes like Raph being the new leader. I would definitely recommend this to any TMNT fan but, I honestly don’t get why this is getting so much hate, people should embrace change. I hope this show gets 6 seasons!!!

Ok, I was never really a fan of the ninja turtles growing up, but this version really made me start liking it! It's funny, action-packed, amazing, and I like the designs. Some people may say it's a stupid show, but to me I think it's one of the best adaptations of the turtles I've ever seen... even though I've barely seen the others.
