    I honestly love this show so much, it’s my favorite show I’ve ever watched. I’m so grateful that I found this show and I will never forget it because it actually touched my heart. The ending was sad but, it made the show amazing. It showed love,power,forgiveness,heartbreak,sadness,Hope,and most of all family. As once said by Elijah Mikaelson “it’s been a glorious ride”.

  • Disappointing conclusion

    The ending was such a disappointment, it makes it hard to enjoy the show overall knowing how it all unfolds. The finale did not make sense narratively for several reasons and it was such a frustrating and disappointing conclusion to the series and for so many of these characters I had followed and loved for years. I have not been this disappointed and let down by a finale since HIMYM.

    Although this show may seem cliché vampire drama at times, it's so much more than that. I've watched dozens, possibly hundreds of shows without ever writing a review. This show isn't about vampires or werewolves or witches (although it does have a lot of them). Its about a family, and their triumphs and failures over 1000 years together. The characters are extremely well written, especially Niklaus. Cheers to an amazing show!
