Discovery has played the old shoes over and over again with bonus ??? Take it off the air already. No idea how they generate money. So much for the Brown family off the grid as long as Discovery channel pays........

1st through 6th seasons are great of this show. The 7th season and now 8th are lackluster. 7th season they film in a backyard in California while everyone is overly emotional. 8th season they film them build a barn over a few week period and a bunch of film crew prompted (fake) “bush” fixes and gadgets. They had a real thing for tarp and duct tape this season. And a whole lot of “this happened” but no film evidence. When they announced the season finale episode I actually laughed out loud! It took 7 episodes to build a barn post structure and 1 episode to roof, side and finish it apparently. I thought this season would be 12-18 episodes to make up for last seasons california backyard bush people but apparently 8 episodes of half the cast missing is a series now. Ami and Billy had a accumulative screen time of probably 10 minutes this season... Bear had maybe 30 minutes total... Bam was back this season but in and out for 3-5min every episode. Noah was shown in his “work shop” or lifting his shirt up to show his stretch marks every other episode. It was basically a weird laugh Gabe and overly sentimental Bird series with a coming of age whiny Merry Christmas Katherine Raindrop..... oh and crazy Matt making a bush costume from tarps or carrying car batteries from one part of their land to another. 400 acres in Washington state and this is what we get. I won’t be surprised if they don’t get another season.
