Rapid image changes where distracting and cheap editing. It ruined the episode. I hope this does not continue.

Anthony Bourdain shows real local life.

I really have respected Anthony over the years...but he’s obviously getting sick of the whole thing. From tirelessly teasing his friend in the French Alps & then switching it to a play on a slasher flick, to turning the South of Italy into an old western...it’s time to give it up Anthony. You and your cinematographer are obviously fanboys of the greats, and your poor attempts at creating the same shots in your little travel show is embarrassing.

Why are these episodes not updated to stay in sync with their air dates? We are almost two episodes behind schedule.

I have been a long time fan. Ever since he has been on cnn the producers have forced more politics in. As a native born Sri Lankan I am deeply disappointed in their political angle of focusing the whole show on the civil war that ended in 2009! No positives, no food, no traveling. Colombo is booming due to contracts with the Chinese. No mention. This will cost tourism for the north and south. From the dark gritty ominous music and filtering to glossing over the fact that the warring Tamil extremists were terrorists. They paint them as wholly innocent. They have no rights to the land they choose war over integration. This issue is reflected in Europe now. The British brought this on us. I don’t expect Americans to understand nationalism. This does nothing to unify the country or help with the economy. Are every show that visits Vietnam focusing on the war that ended years ago? Such a weird and disgustingly biased episode I won’t be watching any more new episodes. Go to hell cnn.

Host is a little too dry and bland for my taste.
