It's great to see Marvel invest in these lesser known characters that have been glossed over for decades. Jessica wasn't one of my favorite characters, but Krysten's portrayal is just great. The good: A very realistic scenario of PTSD and peoples coping mechanisms. Great acting, fights, love scenes, it's really got it all. The bad: The Purple Man. I would really like to have seen him turn purple at some point. They shy away from the superhero costuming too often. Hoping to see more of a romance between her and Luke in the future.

Ths series is great. I recommend people watch it. It's much like Daredevil where it's a show based in New York City showing the life of the main protagonist. Jessica Jones in this case. It has many elements that came tgether well. 1. The premise. It's something not too much explored in superhero shows. It's about Jessica suffering the after affects of being mind controlled for years when the man who controlled her, Kilgrave, comes back into her life. That's the base amount of infor on the show's plot I'll give you. 2. David Tennant. The man who many Americans will recognize from his role as the 10th Doctor from Doctor Who. He's also in Broadchurch, which I'd also recommend. He plays Kilgrave & is delightful. Every second he's on screen, he steals the show, quite literally considering his character's powers & how they come into play. He's every bit as charming as he was as The Doctor, but it's creepy because you're not supposed to like him. I love it. The MCU continues its casting of past Doctor actors in villain roles & this was perfect casting. 3. The casting. Other than David Tennant, the rest of the main cast does a great job. Who expected Eka Darville, Scott/RPM Red from Power Rangers RPM to appear as a drug junkie? Makes me want to see RPM even more if he's as good as he is here. Eeveryone else also does great with what they had. 4. The world building. Like Daredevil, this series shows how people act in the world outside of the films. Can't wait to see what they make of some of the lingering things they had at the end in the future. This season was great and I recommend it to every Marvel fan.
