Expedition Unknown is a really excellent show... the host is charismatic, and is clearly invested in the topics he covers. The host talks with archaeologists and treasure hunters, many times joining them on expeditions. Sometimes something new is actually discovered on air. I think this is one of the most well-made shows on tv. The Woolly Mammoth part I and II episodes are some of the best tv episodes I've seen, ever.
