  • Very disappointed!

I live overseas and since NBC is super strict about that international boundry I subscribed to SNL here, mostly for the political jokes which is their best stuff. It had been obvioudly cut but I was happy enough with it till this week. The MUCH hyped Melissa McCarthy ep in Mid may didn't even include her Sean Spicer skit!!?!?! HOW is that possible?! That was the backbone of the show this week! Very disappointing SNL.

  • STUPID

This show only exists because it hires desperate people working on their career, and costs almost ZERO to produce. Not funny, and it's forced upon us in the news, online, everywhere it pops up like a virus because it's cheap to make and cheap to sell. Severely over rated, all hype, and often times UnAmerican.
  • Base Juvenile Fowl Substandard!

The political humor is pretty good however, the rest of the skits in this episode are SO poorly written that I was embarrassed for SNL! It appears the writers are attempting to infuse skits with fowl, juvenile, and base humor for lack of true comedic talent, like children telling potty jokes BUT WORSE!! Soooo disappointing!

Seems incomplete, no musical guest? And not all sketches. And i paid for this? What gives???
  • Not funny anymore

Used to be hilarious, but not any more. Apparently all they can make fun of is Trump and his cabinet these days. Yes, we get it, it was funny the first couple of times, but it is just not funny anymore. Same old nonsense. Same old jokes. Not watching anymore.
  • Only Part of Show and Biased

There are no musical performances, sometimes not even an opening monologue and certainly one or two cut sketches, so do not think you are getting "this week's show". Also, while there has been a bit of political humour in the past, the current writing is almost obsessed with Donald Trump. I was never one of his supporters and did not vote for him, so this is not 'thin skin' on my part. I have watched this program since ninth grade, through a lot of presidents, and they have crossed the line. They say in standup that you should avoid doing more than three jokes on one subject, as it gets stale after that. They morons have had three or four sketches, as well as Weekend Update focused on Trump for a year+. The old orange hair, red tie, and blond wife thing is very very old. Try better writing!
  • Shame on SNL

They are deceiving buyers by not listing the episode sketches/contents. I bought the most recent and parts of the show are not included. That is wrong.
  • Silly instead of funny, and mostly stupid.

This show is ONLY still around because of hype, self promotion and constant airing by news websites as if it's funny or relevant because they are owned by the same company, and it costs almost nothing to produce. They now focus on a biased political message making one side sound silly but well intentioned and qualified and the other as silly and terrible. Funny is sacrificed for the silly, and even the silly is just people acting stupid. Almost entirely always just overhyped garbage.
  • Sure, sketches are missing, but they warn you...

I love being able to purchase the episodes after they've aired. Sure, some of the sketches are missing, but that's not NBC, Apple, or SNL's fault - they're music copyright issues. Each episode description lists exactly what sketches are included in the download, so I'm never surprised.
