MythBusters, Season 19

Have loved this show since i was around 5 years old

"Get off my truck porshe" is now my favorite line from this excellent TV show!

Now that I’ve watched all of the final season’s episodes, I’m glad the producers decided to dispense with the Build Team. Returning to the Just-Jamie-and-Adam format, as well as beefing-up the science-and-technology look and feel of the episodes was a good move: it harkens back to the earliest episodes when the on-screen antics of the members of the Build Team were less in evidence and the subject matter (i.e., the myths) was given center stage. As appealing as they were as individuals, Kari, Grant and Tory were a distraction and eventually led to the Mythbusters presentation looking just like all the other hammy character-driven soap operas of Reality TV Land. Sorry to see MB’s departure, but at least I’ll have 18 seasons of recordings to remember them by.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think they did it about right. They didn’t wait until they’d returned to the viewership levels of 2003 to call it quits. They ended their run before they jumped the shark. This doesn’t mean I don’t detest the fact that they’re off the air. It just means I understand why they did it. I just hope that if sufficient impetus comes along, they’ll put up a special.

It's so sad that they're going. I love Mythbusters and I know that this finale season is going to be epic. I just... *cries* I just wish they didn't have to go. But over the past 14 years they have been AMAZING at everything they've done... Mythbusters don't deserve any haters, they're just trying to make science fun. And they've succeeded. R.I.P. Mythbusters I will always be your #1 fan. 🙂

I am so sad to see the end and Al those I am only 11 I have seen all the episodes and I am sad to see the end I have always dreamed of meeting them in person

I enjoy Mythbusters but felt more than a little cheated paying for a show that is essentially an extended teaser for the last series. It felt much more like it should have been a “season pass” only thing. The one star is just for this episode, the second show was business as usual, and I am expecting similar from the remainder of the final season.

This show was AWSOME! It's depressing to have to end this series.

I have watched all of the mythbusters episodes, it is such a great show with great personalities. I am excited to see the last few episodes they have produced and wish this was not the end. Mythbusters will be missed.
