Itinerant musicians struggle through a sleepless, overnight train ride to their next important engagement, in Pottsville. This was the team’s second “all-talking” comedy. Film and rail buffs continue to visit the 1887 train depot used here, now relocated from Palms to the far away Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles. This 1936 reissue version added the Laurel & Hardy theme music, KU KU, which didn’t become a signature Laurel & Hardy element until 1930. Directed by Lewis R. Foster.
